The storytelling behind contents is a good news as l was fortunate to login to my Wikimedia Commons account on September 2, 2022. I found an advert on Wikimedia Commons page showing "Wiki Loves Monuments: Photographs a monuments, help Wikipedia and win!".

After that as l click on the advertisement. I got to see the requirements for participating in the contents.

Later on, the following weeks on the 9th of September 2022. I motivated myself to go as l visited National Museum Lagos. I paid Entrance fee of 500 Naira Only. And l was allowed to go into the museum. I did a research as l snapped monuments photographs at the museum. I went round the museum with a series of observation with my camera and tablets at the museum.

Most of the pictures l snapped were uploaded through the Wikimedia Commons wizard for uploading photographs and videos.

Before l used the photographs on Wikimedia Commons and Wikipedia. I have a written permission letter submitted to the curator in charge of National Museum Lagos. Through the Museum
Public Relations Officer (PRO), Mr. Okechukwu Okalanwa who advised me before l can use the photographs on Wikimedia Commons and Wikipedia as l obeyed the instructions.

At the National Museum Lagos, they have over 40,000 pieces of works of arts that can serve the purpose of anyone’s who visited the museum  from my own observation and research.

From the Nigeria Art in the Circle of Life with 7 segments namely fertility and birth, initiation, adult life, external influence, wisdom and learning, re-incarnation, death, burial and funeral, as well as exhibition gallery where artworks displayed temporarily.

To the Nigerian Governments: Yesterday And Today,  where someone can see portraits of various Nigerian leaders (both past and present) as well as colonial period and meeting photographs and the state car in which former Nigerian Head of State in the military regime, General Murtala Ramat Mohammed was assassinated, and also to the export permit where permits are issued to those who want to take artworks out of the country.

And to the Children Public Engagement Space, at the National Museum Lagos.
To promote learning as well as to provide students with an opportunity to share ideas in an engaging manner and conducive environment, and promote cultural preservation efforts.
And also to promote the preservation of Nigerian cultural heritage.

I was able to photographs and contributed 107 Photographs and 3 Videos to the Wiki Loves Monuments 2022 by Wikipedia

l realize that National Museum Lagos, photographs l contributed  September 2022 on Wiki Loves Monuments 2022 is now on global usage by Wikipedia on Nigerian National Museum.
