Brief Story

Late Surakat Omosanya Ayibiowu, (A.K.A Baba Ijebu) was born on July 17, 1927-February 16, 2005.

The man of great stature and bold by nature. He was a man who cherish and delighted in wood business  at an early age as a  merchant. It's nature of busines is centered on wood known in Yoruba language as Igi gedu.

Historical Background

According to research his descendant came from Ile Ife, Agura, Agbowa, Benin, Ijebu Ode and Ijebu Igbo. His great greanfather were also wood and farm dealers in trees.

Educational: He attended schools in those days.

He works harder as a businessman to develop the business as it's prosper in his hand. He deals with woods like mohogany wood, opepe wood, black afarawood, eki wood, masonia wood. Abora wood and thick woods.

He came from a polygamous family while he was alive as he married three wives. 

First wife: Full Name in research.

Third wife: Mrs. Olajumoke Mudirat Ayibiowu.

Who gave birth to the following children: Kafila Ayibiowu, Shakiru Ayibiowu, Saheed Ayibiowu, Fasila Ayibiowu, Fasuat Ayibiowu, Yomi Ayibiowu, 

Tosin (Mutiya) Ayibiowu (28 July 1982) was the last born.

Religion.

He was a muslim.

Died and buried as a Muslim.
