The purpose of writing this article is to create awareness and to let everyone knows how to protect themselves by not falling victim to hackers on WhatsApp.

On those sets of people who are yet to come to the knowledge or already had bitterly experienced in the past to share their views on our blog in a bid to be a solution to others rather than the problem.

 For a long time ago, according to research as it is shown that hacking is an expert at programming and solving problems with a computer. But nowadays hackers are now known for their fraudulent attitude and evil heart to impersonate someone else to defraud people by carrying out malicious attacks.

 Take for example the following,

 According to the English dictionary.

 Hacker (plural hackers)

 One who is an expert at programming and solving problems with a computer.

 One who uses a computer to gain unauthorized access to data, or to carry out malicious attacks.

The nowadays hackers have seriously improvised advanced ways of changing WhatsApp pin and two-step verification through a conference call to hack people's telephone numbers for their own selfish and evil intentions.

 So many cases of hackers on WhatsApp have drastically increased from 50% - 60% in the year 2020 during the lockdown COVID-19 pandemic.

 Solution:

 If you are an admin and have experienced such attacks, kindly look for a way to send or pass messages across to all group members to separate themselves with immediate effect by removing their telephone numbers on such a WhatsApp group, etc.

 Also, if you are one of the victims of hackers on WhatsApp. Kindly report your telephone number which has been hacked to the respective mobile line that owns your mobile line airtime by going to their branch office or head office closer to your area to retrieve your telephone number as this may take a week or two weeks and less it all depends.


 Furthermore, the recent ramp of hackers on social media is devastating and it's high time we look into it from different perspectives.

The ongoing WhatsApp hacker has gone wiser and extra mind to defraud people to any length on WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business.

 It’s now frustrating to an extent that any group, members of the group as well as the admin. The major social WhatsApp platform created by various individuals, communities, the business group on WhatsApp, companies, political WhatsApp group, local and international WhatsApp platforms, religious body, and Christian groups on WhatsApp is now operating in fears of the hacker’s malicious attacks.

 How to Exposed the Way Hackers Operates on WhatsApp?

  •        The scammers deliberately post fraudulent advertisements to attract some people as they try to see the advert which links them up to the hackers trapped set to defraud someone.

  •        One of the hackers will post the advert on the WhatsApp platform and another hacker will say that, l have or just received mine and deceiving someone else to claim yours now. Sometimes some of these hackers do apologize for posting such an advert on a platform so that they can quickly deceive many people as they can before they get to know their bad intentions. If you sense such things kindly exposed it without delay on the platforms.

  •       If you notice that someone changed their telephone numbers on the WhatsApp platform, it could be a sign that the telephone number has been a hack. Kindly removed such telephone numbers from your contacts to be on a safe side.

  •       The hacker also changed someone telephones number by hijacking it from the original owner or user and later used that same changed telephone numbers to attack individual and others in a different WhatsApp group and platforms with a fake identity or the real identity of the photos of the telephone numbers hijacked by impersonating such fellow. The measures we can put in places to secure our platforms are if we noticed such things like that, we just have to quickly expose the malicious attacks before they attack us. Treat others like you treat yourself.

  •        Recommendation and Suggestion are on WhatsApp observation: If we can track the hackers and report them to the nearest police station as soon as possible to fish them out or find and locate them on any Platform. If  telephone number has been hacked on whatsApp. Another suggestion one can use to quickly recover it. "Just remove your sim card for three days at night". Delete or uninstall the WhatsApp on your phone. Download and reinstalled it again. You will find that your telephone number that was hacked will be recovered and the hacker will not be able to make use of it again.

  •       Don't attempt or answer an unknown conference call, because it might be a sign of one of those hackers.


  •       Do your two-step verification on WhatsApp, if you have not done yours. It does not cost you anything and it won't take your time. Within just two minutes.

 Follow the steps below by going to your WhatsApp setting:

 ➡ Go to Settings on your WhatsApp,

 ➡ Click on Account,

 ➡ Click on Two-step verification,

 ➡ Enter pin, (any of your choices that you can remember easily)

 ➡ Input your email address

 ➡ And save, that's all.

 🎤 If someone wants to change it, WhatsApp will ask for the Two-step verification and without it the account won't open.
